Kate at GPTC

Kate spent last week at the Great Plains Theatre Conference in Omaha, where she was a Featured Playwright (along with Brown University’s Erik Ehn and Brooklyn College’s Mac Wellman). Here she is with (from left) dramaturg Heather Helinsky, Kate, this year's GPTF Honored Playwright Constance Congdon, director Mary Beth Easley, and sound designer Mark Bruckner. Mary Beth directed an early version of Kate’s play Observatory (with Trish Hawkins) at Circle Rep Lab some 20 years ago.
